Red Bull creates Behind-The-Scenes video for "Must Dust"
Red Bull creates a Behind the Scenes of Video of "Must Dust"
Happy New Year!
To kick off our first blog post for the year, we want to recap a project that has been in the works for a while that just went live (well, part of it anyways).
Last year we had the pleasure of working with director Josh McGowan and Red Bull BMX athlete Corey Martinez called “Must Dust”. We had been wanting to shoot something in the action sports world for a while now, and enjoyed Josh’s vision to come at it from a more artistic angle.
We spent about a week in August in an old abandoned warehouse in Nashville preparing and shooting this project. It was hot, it was dusty, and the whole team put in a ton of work to make this thing happen. Corey and his riding buddies built all of the ramps from materials found in the warehouse in order to keep the look as untouched as possible (see pictures below). It looked like something straight out of a Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game.
Red Bull got wind of the project and decided to do a piece documenting the whole project for their Raditudes Series. The video is a great behind-the-scenes look at the project and all that went on. Stay tuned for the final director’s cut!
